By streamlining sourcing and distribution, the division connects trusted partners across borders, prioritising quality, compliance, and efficiency in every transaction.
About the Role
The Business Development Manager plays a critical role in shaping, driving, and sustaining the commercial growth of Navi Group's International Wholesale division.
This role exists to expand the organisation's customer base, strengthen supplier partnerships, build a robust product pipeline, and deliver scalable commercial strategies that support long-term international expansion.
The purpose is to serve as a commercial catalyst, translating market opportunities, product insights, and customer needs into tangible revenue and margin growth across EU and non-EU markets.
Key Deliverables
A continuously expanding and commercially viable product pipeline, aligned to customer licence portfolios and emerging market opportunities.
Quarter-on-quarter revenue and margin growth across key accounts and international markets.
New customer and supplier acquisition, fully onboarded and integrated into operational processes.
Data-driven commercial reporting with clear insights on sales trends, margins, and KPIs for senior management.
Market penetration strategies that successfully open new channels, geographies, or therapeutic categories.
Improved supply chain efficiency through optimisation initiatives that enhance service levels and margin performance.
Delivery of budget commitments, including forecasting accuracy and commercial planning integrity.
About the Person
The ideal candidate will have a proven background in business development, commercial management, and account management within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or wholesale distribution sectors.
They will demonstrate success in driving revenue and margin growth, and possess strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with pharmaceutical supply chain dynamics, competitive market analysis, and international commercial experience is highly advantageous.
The successful applicant will be growth-oriented, entrepreneurial, resilient, and collaborative, with excellent planning, communication, and organisational abilities, and a clear focus on building valuable customer and supplier partnerships.
