Clinical Nurse Manager 3, Acute Floor - Emergency Department

Purpose of the Role
The CNM3 in Emergency Nursing is pivotal for coordinating and managing nursing services and resources across the ED, Transition Care Lounge, and Acute Floor. The role involves professional and clinical leadership, developing nurse-led services, and implementing efficient pathways to ensure high-quality service delivery. The CNM3 also focuses on patient flow, meeting local and national KPIs, and leading quality and safety improvements.
Qualifications
* Registered in the General Division of the active Register held by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland or eligible for registration.
* 5 years post-registration experience, with at least 2 years in the specialty or related area.
* Postgraduate qualification at level 7 or higher on the NFQ in healthcare or management, or willingness to obtain one.
* Clinical, managerial, and administrative capacity to perform the role.
* Management experience in an acute hospital setting.
* Experience in the specialist area.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Evidence of ongoing professional development.
* Knowledge and ability to perform the role effectively.
* Interest in teaching and professional development.
* Postgraduate qualification at level 9 in Emergency Nursing.

Particulars of Office
* Positions: 1 temporary, 2 permanent.
* Remuneration: €68,652 to €77,530, based on experience and increments.
