Role Overview
As we grow the team, we're seeking a driven Social Media Video Editor to join us. This role will play a key part in taking Best of Ireland's social media videos to the next level. You will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging content for, and supporting the growth of, Best of Ireland and our tourism and hospitality clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of Ireland's most prominent travel and tourism brands.
Key Skills and Responsibilities
* Video Editing: Create engaging social media video content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, ensuring a consistent brand aesthetic.
* Videography: Capture high-quality travel footage for both Best of Ireland's organic content and promotional client partnerships.
* Content Strategy: Support the planning and implementation of our content strategy through ideation and contributing to the content calendar.
* Social Listening: Monitor industry trends and audience feedback to suggest improvements to video formats and style.
* Social Media Expertise: Strong understanding of trends, algorithms and best practices across major social platforms.
* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work closely with team members and clients on shoots.
* Creativity: A strong eye for detail and a passion for producing engaging, on-brand content that resonates with audiences.
* Self-Motivated and Organised: Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and maintain excellent time management.
Desirable
* 1–2 years of experience in a video editing role
* Full Irish driving licence (occasional driving to shoots or team meet-ups)
* Knowledge of Ireland's tourism industry, culture and trends
* A genuine passion for travel and exploring Ireland
