Clinical Education Facilitator in Emergency Medicine
Role Overview:
The Clinical Education Facilitator will work closely with the department team to manage the clinical educational needs within the Emergency Department. This role is responsible for ensuring that nurses and midwives have access to ongoing education and training opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive education strategy for the Emergency Department
* Work closely with the department team to identify education needs and develop solutions
* Deliver high-quality education programs to support the development of nurses and midwives
* Conduct regular evaluations to ensure that education programs are meeting their intended goals
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 5 years' post-registration experience as a nurse or midwife
* At least 3 years' experience working in the Emergency Department
* A postgraduate diploma in Paediatric Emergency Nursing or willingness to undertake same
* Demonstrated evidence of continuing professional development
* Registration on the Children's Division of the live register of nurses and midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
