We are seeking a results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager for a 4-star hotel in Leitrim/Roscommon area.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Sales and Marketing Manager in a similar establishment, with exceptional leadership skills, strong interpersonal and communication abilities, and a proven track record of driving sales growth and revenue increase from group, leisure, corporate, and conference business.
* Developing effective marketing strategies to monitor and evaluate their performance against set goals
* Sourcing new business opportunities, nurturing existing relationships, and networking for new partnerships within domestic and overseas markets
* Leading departmental activities, managing a team of two, ensuring seamless customer service, tracking leads, maintaining accurate account data, negotiating rates, communicating with clients, conducting market research, creating compelling proposals etc.
* Crafting, implementing, and executing successful sales promotions
* Overseeing the sales and marketing department's expenses, business planning, and budgeting processes
* Achieving established revenue targets and reporting monthly progress to the General Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing
* Participating in sales activities including sales trips and appointments, tradeshows, site inspections, corporate hospitality, presentations, Fam trips etc.
* Identifying new business prospects, as well as growing and maintaining existing accounts' business
Main Responsibilities:
Maintain Accurate Account Data: Ensure that all customer information is up-to-date and accurate, reflecting the current status of each account.
Negotiate Rates: Develop and negotiate mutually beneficial rate agreements with clients, balancing the hotel's needs with customer expectations.
Communicate Effectively: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders through clear, concise, and engaging communication.
