Our projects demand hygiene, compliance and precision — and we support them with robust engineering and operational excellence.Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and motivated HSEQ Manager to lead and elevate our Health, Safety, Environment and Quality systems. This role is critical to ensuring that Noreside Engineering maintains best-in-class practices across all operational and project activities in engineering, manufacturing and site delivery.The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with Irish and EU regulatory standards, company procedures, and customer requirements in highly regulated industries. They will work cross-functionally with engineering teams, project managers, suppliers and clients.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain HSEQ policies, procedures and systems to meet legal and industry standards.Lead risk assessments, audits, inspections, incident investigations and corrective actions.Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation (including Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act), ISO standards and relevant quality frameworks.Promote a strong safety culture and behaviour-based safety programmes across all departments and project teams.Provide expert guidance and training in health and safety best practices, environmental management, and quality assurance.Collaborate with operations, design, manufacturing and site teams to embed HSEQ into all activities from concept through installation and commissioning.Manage documentation for Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and Health & Safety Management Systems (HSMS).Liaise with clients, contractors and regulatory bodies on HSEQ matters.Prepare and present reports to senior management with actionable insights for continuous improvement.Minimum Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or related discipline (preferred).2+ years' experience in Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental management, ideally in engineering, manufacturing or construction environments.Demonstrated experience working with site teams in regulated industries (pharma, food & beverage, GMP environments preferred).Knowledge of safety legislation, risk management methodologies, and quality compliance standards.Experience with ISO standards (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO and regulatory frameworks.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence at all levels.Excellent organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail.Desirable SkillsProfessional certification (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, CQI, CMIOSH).Experience in automation or mechanical fabrication environments.Familiarity with Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting frameworks.What We OfferCompetitive salary & benefits package.Opportunity to shape and lead HSEQ practices within a growing engineering business.Collaborative and innovative working culture.Exposure to high-profile engineering projects across regulated sectors.How to ApplyPlease submit your CV and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience to with the subject line "HSEQ Manager Application – (Your Name)".Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €40,000.00-€50,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
