Senior Manager – Climate Change and Sustainability Services
Join EY as a Senior Manager in Climate Change and Sustainability Services. This role is based in Dublin or Cork, is full‑time permanent, and offers visa sponsorship. It supports a high‑energy, agile team delivering sustainable outcomes for leading global organisations.
Location & Work
Dublin / Cork. Available for work visa sponsorship. UKI Assurance Ireland business area.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage climate and sustainability engagements with senior stakeholders across EY colleagues globally.
Work with clients to identify, measure, deliver and report on climate and sustainability issues that create long‑term value.
Collaborate within focus areas – Climate Change & Decarbonisation, ESG & Sustainability, ESG assurance, EHS – and cross‑functional teams.
Contribute to new business development, highlight opportunities and respond to tenders.
Provide strategic leadership, project management and communication to drive client outcomes.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in external sustainability assurance/audit at Senior Manager level or equivalent.
Minimum 4–5 years of experience in sustainability.
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA(SA)) or relevant sustainability qualification.
Proven experience in sustainability or non‑financial assurance engagement.
Strong understanding of CSRD, ESRS and related frameworks.
Excellent leadership, project management and communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to network effectively within large organisations.
Desired Additional Experience
Learning agility and strategic thinking.
Strong technical, quantitative and analytical skills.
Deep understanding of climate‑related business risk and value creation.
Experience working with diverse technical teams.
Coaching and developing other team members.
Prior consulting or industry experience.
Relevant professional qualifications in sustainability, climate change, environmental science, or related fields.
