About The Role We are looking for a Property and Facilities Assistant to join our team.
This is a full time role, based out of our Head Office in Galway supporting our properties in the UK and Ireland.
It may require occasional travel to our UK and Irish stores (approximately once every six weeks).
We are looking for someone who has the right attitude and can show initiative, full training will be provided.
Salary: €35,000 - €45,000 (depending on experience) Responsibilities Analysing data to spot anomalies Responding to queries from stores Liaising with Landlords or Managing Agents Liaising with our service charge consultants to identify and tackle problems Disputing problem costs with insurers, landlords or managing agents Handling ongoing or major dispute issues with Landlords Liaising with our Commercial Rates advisors to advise stores of forthcoming inspections and providing store plans Management of commercial waste contract / service Liaising with Store Management teams and carrying out site inspections to identify problems with expenditure In person audits which would include checking paperwork and job records The Ideal Candidate The candidate must be: Tenacious with a can do attitude A problem solver Proactive and use their own initiative Conscientious and discreet A confident communicator by phone and face to face Previous experience with legal documents, leases or facilities documents would be an advantage but is not essential.
