My client is an award-winning international multidisciplinary design consultancy that prioritizes sustainable building design in innovative and creative ways. They are seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer for their Dublin office to lead a team of passionate engineers and help revolutionize sustainable building design in a thriving market.

Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and delivery of complex building services projects (science, industry, technology, etc.).
* Develop innovative and sustainable mechanical solutions, incorporating net-zero carbon principles, embodied carbon analysis, and circular economy strategies.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, clients, and other specialists, to ensure seamless project integration.
* Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
* Oversee contractor coordination, ensuring successful delivery and commissioning of mechanical installations.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Degree in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
* Minimum 12-15 years of post-qualification design experience, primarily within a consultancy environment.
* Previous design experience in data centre projects.
* Experience in the Irish market (or in the UK).
* Chartered Engineer status (or near) with a proven track record of delivering innovative mechanical solutions.
* Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations (including BCAR) and relevant industry standards.
* Experience managing contractors and overseeing on-site work, including commissioning and maintenance considerations.
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
