We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Outreach Respite Team Lead to join our new and exciting Afterschool Children's Respite Service in Meath. Contract Type: 12 month fixed term contract Contract Hours: 28 hours per week, 0.80 WTE Salary Scale: The current salary scale for this post is €49,597 - €60,013 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI's (Long Service Increments) This pay scale is subject to increases in 2026 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations. Annual Leave Entitlement: 30 days pro rata per annum Overview of the Post: To assist the manager with the co-ordination and delivery of the range of outreach support services to children. The main responsibilities include working in partnership with families to develop goals and plans, allocating staff to deliver the service and monitoring service delivery. The team lead will work with a dedicated group of children /young people in a person-centered approach to meet their identified need, provide administration support to the service and provide support and supervision to the allocated staff team as directed by the Manager. The range of services may include after school, day, evening, weekend respite, summers camps and other forms of alternative respite as they are developed Overview of Duties & Responsibilities: Please see Job Description for full list The successful candidate will have Essential Criteria: A recognised relevant third level qualification in health care, social care, childcare, nursing (min level 7 or equivalent) 2 years' experience of working with children/young persons in home, in a centre or in a community-based setting. 1 years' experience of working with children with a range of disabilities including Autism.
