Essential Criteria
University degree or diploma (QQ1 level 8 equivalent) with 1st or 2nd class honours; major in Psychology
Irish post‑graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology, or equivalent validated by the Department of Health
Demonstrated competence in the Care Group(s) applied for
Senior Post Criteria
At least five years satisfactory post‑graduate experience in professional psychology, no more than three years spent gaining postgraduate qualification
At least two years full‑time post‑qualification experience as a professional psychologist
For clinical, counselling, or educational psychology: at least 60 days supervised placement or post‑qualification work experience in child disability settings
