About the Role:
EPS Group requires a Technician for our Product Assembly Workshop in Mountrath. The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of pumps and motors in the water or similar industry. This hands-on role involves assembling and repairing products both mechanically and electrically, including water treatment, pumping, and boosting products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure sufficient kanban stocks are available for the sales team
* Assemble booster pumps and water treatment filters (mechanically & electrically)
* Pick and distribute materials systematically
* Test products before shipping
* Pack pumps, parts, and water treatment components for shipment
* Interact regularly with sales team and customers
* Support branches and sales team with queries
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment, complying with health and safety practices
* Complete health & safety documentation
* Maintain the ERP shop floor system
Key Competencies and Skills:
* Attention to detail and self-motivation
* Ability to work well in a team
* Mechanical assembly experience (1-2 years) is advantageous but not essential
* Good verbal and written communication skills
