Purpose of the Role
To oversee site operations on a daily basis, ensuring that all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
This position is ideally suited to someone with a strong background across all aspects of construction.
Responsibilities
Ensure client expectations are met through the delivery of a high-quality end product while maintaining positive relationships with design teams and client representatives.
Uphold the highest standards of health & safety, quality, and client service, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and snag-free.
Accurately report project progress to senior management in a timely manner.
Manage and coordinate subcontractors to ensure all work meets the required standards with minimal rework.
Plan, coordinate, and deliver works in line with contract documents and project schedules.
Maintain strong working relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors, and supply chain partners.
Resource and schedule works in accordance with the construction programme.
Collaborate closely with the project QS to identify and resolve upcoming issues.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar Site Management role.
Strong background in building construction.
Proven experience delivering projects from inception to completion.
Experience in both Shell & Core and Fit-Out projects is desirable.
Comprehensive understanding of the construction industry and project execution processes.
Proficient in MS Office and project scheduling tools (e.g. MS Project or similar).
Experience with Common Data Environments (CDE) such as Procore is advantageous.
Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail, particularly in finishes, with a record of on-time delivery.
Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of making sound judgments under pressure.
Effective leader with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
