Maintenance Technician
This role involves ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of manufacturing equipment, contributing to delivering life-saving innovations.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to plan and execute Preventative Maintenance tasks effectively.
* Adhere to Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety policies and procedures at all times.
* Address downtime and process-related issues efficiently, minimizing impact on operations.
* Share knowledge within the team regarding equipment and processes to promote continuous improvement.
* Identify opportunities for cost-saving and yield improvement initiatives across the broader group.
* Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects activities.
* Keep procedures and documents up-to-date in accordance with DCR changes.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace in line with 6S principles.
* Comply with all regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
* Diploma/Degree qualification in Engineering or a relevant manufacturing field.
* High degree of computer literacy.
* Knowledge of CAD, electrical, and mechanical drawings.
* Experience with industrial, mechanical, and electrical safety standards.
* Familiarity with BMS and CMMS.
* Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical manufacturing equipment.
* Minimum two years experience in a Mechanical industry post graduation.
* Background in the medical devices industry desirable.
* Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, maintenance, and repair.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Open to acquiring new skills and knowledge.
