Role Overview

The Demand Planning Manager will lead the forecasting and demand planning process for semiconductor products, ensuring accurate projections to support production, inventory, and customer fulfillment. This role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a strong understanding of semiconductor market dynamics.
Reporting to the Director Sales Operations, this position is responsible for managing the SIOP business process, customer demand forecasting, managing inventory and the SIOP execution associated with customers and products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical models, historical data, and market intelligence.

• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Business Unit and Finance teams to align forecasts with business objectives.

• Monitor demand trends, customer orders, and market signals to adjust forecasts proactively.

• Manage and lead the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process including monthly reviews.

• Identify risks and opportunities in demand plans and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.

• Optimize inventory levels to balance service levels and working capital.

• Implement and improve demand planning tools and processes.

• Provide reporting and analytics to support executive decision-making. Including data visualisation reports and dashboards to facilitate easy interpretation and communication of SIOP KPIs.

• Identify, and implement opportunities for improvements to the forecasting process. Improving both the efficiency (streamline) as well as the effectiveness (accuracy) of the process.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Science, Business, or related field is desirable but not essential. Relevant experience will also be considered.

• 5+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management, preferably in the semiconductor industry.

• Strong knowledge of forecasting methodologies and ERP planning systems.

• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; experience with Data Visualisation tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or equivalents BI tools is a plus.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Self-motivated, comfortable working with ambiguity and managing complexity in a global, fast-paced global organization.

• Familiarity with semiconductor product lifecycle, lead times and the general semiconductor industry an advantage.

• Good planning and organizational skills.

• Significant cross-functional leadership capabilities – ability to lead, collaborate and influence without authority; uses informal structure, dynamics, and culture to get things done.
