We are a busy and well-established furniture store based in Galway City, known for delivering high-quality furniture and excellent customer service. We're currently seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver & Furniture Assembler to join our team.
Role Overview
As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering furniture to customers across Galway and surrounding areas, as well as assembling items both in-store and at customer locations. This is a hands-on role that requires a good level of physical fitness and a strong customer-focused attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely load, transport, and unload furniture items
Assemble furniture in-store or at customers' locations
Ensure all deliveries are completed on time
Provide professional and friendly service to our customers
Maintain cleanliness and care of company vehicle and tools
Requirements:
Full clean driving licence (Essential)
Previous experience in delivery and/or furniture assembly is a strong advantage
Good level of physical fitness
Strong attention to detail
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Friendly, polite, and customer-oriented attitude
Neat personal presentation and appropriate work attire required at all times
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
