Job Description
The Interchange and Scheme Fee Team manages and analyzes complex fee structures related to card transactions, primarily in Europe, but also across APAC, MEA, and LAC regions. Our team ensures accurate calculation, reporting, and optimization of interchange and scheme fees across various payment networks.
Key responsibilities:
* Manage Interchange and/or Scheme Fees (including bulletin analysis, tracking changes, product implementation, rate management, cost reconciliation, and procedures maintenance).
* Conduct financial analyses such as budgeting, forecasting, expense allocation, business case development, peer comparisons, and internal consulting.
* Develop and maintain advanced spreadsheets and statistical models.
* Prepare management reports and presentations to communicate financial insights.
* Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data from reporting systems.
* Assist in developing and improving financial applications and tools.
Skills & experience required:
* Knowledge of financial analysis techniques.
* Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
* Ability to identify and resolve data exceptions.
* Technical skills in data mining and visualization tools.
* Advanced MS Excel skills.
* SQL experience preferred or willingness to learn SQL within 3 months.
* Ability to understand technical documentation from card brands (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, AMEX, etc.) in English.
Additional information:
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule with at least 3 days in-office and the option to work remotely on other days.
