Role Overview
In this role, you will support the ongoing growth and market development of West Pharmaceutical Services by contributing to our global Procurement Operations transformation strategy. Based in Dublin, you will work closely with senior analysts and leadership to develop and enhance reporting for sourcing and procurement functions, playing a key role in establishing our global procurement operations in Dublin. This position offers career development opportunities through organizational change and leveraging new information technologies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Support global procurement reporting & analytics:
o Gather, document, and analyze reporting requirements from site procurement teams and stakeholders.
o Design, develop, and implement procurement reports using Power BI, SAP BI, and West Tools.
o Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reports.
o Provide feedback on reports using West tools (Gap & User story).
o Document report parameters, data sources, and maintain SOPs; review regularly.
o Train procurement teams and stakeholders on report usage.
o Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Continuous Improvement:
o Identify and suggest enhancements to reporting structures and processes.
o Support automation of procurement reporting to improve efficiency.
o Participate in root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives.
o Assist with small to medium projects aimed at improvements.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* 3rd level qualification or equivalent.
* Experience in a Shared Service Centre environment within a multinational publicly quoted company.
* Minimum 3+ years in Purchase to Pay processes.
* Experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
Preferred Skills & Abilities
* Experience with SAP or other major ERP systems.
* Basic understanding of accounting principles.
* Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications.
* Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
* Positive, flexible attitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality policies.
Additional Information
Travel Requirements: Up to 13 days/year (approx. 5%).
Physical Requirements: Sedentary role involving sitting most of the time, with occasional lifting up to 10 lbs/4 kg.
