This Biomedical Science position is suitable for a qualified CORU Histology Medical Scientist with experience in Histology, Immunohistochemistry, and other laboratory procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Biomedical Science and be registered with CORU.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct histological examinations, including staining and embedding techniques.
* Perform immunohistochemical assays to identify specific proteins or markers.
* Use microtome and cutting section equipment to prepare tissue samples.
* Analyze results and provide accurate diagnoses.
* Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
* Minimum 37.5 hours per week
* Immediate start available

* Special stains and embedding expertise preferred
* Quality experience ideal
* CORU registration required
