Job Opportunity:
This leadership role will begin with a transitional period where the successful candidate will shadow an existing Accounts Manager as they prepare for retirement. The title during this period will be Accounts Lead, which will then graduate to Finance and Administration Manager. The Finance and Administration Manager will report directly to the Managing Director while working closely with the EMEA Administrative and Financial Department.
Main Responsibilities:
* Supervise financial operations, including general and analytical accounting, monthly and annual closing, compliance with international standards.
* Maintain cash flow management, banking relationships, and optimize working capital.
* Develop a comprehensive accounting strategy in collaboration with EJ management and implement it within the team.
* E nsure reliable accounts and adherence to local and international accounting standards (group standards, USGAP).
* Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
* Monitor daily cash positions and anticipate financing needs.
* Implement advanced cash forecasting tools.
* C oordinate with external auditors and controllers.
* E nsure tax compliance and timely submission of all required declarations.
* P ropose and optimize processes within the scope, subject to management validation.
* Enforce accounting processes, group procedures, and applicable standards.
* E nsure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations and closing deadlines.
* F inancial Management:
o Prepare and monitor budgets, management control, financial reporting, variance analysis.
o Develop dashboards to track financial performance.
o Produce financial forecasts (summary tables, reporting tools, forecast statements) and optimize decision-making tools.
o E nsure monthly reporting to headquarters or group management.
o Manage sales, purchasing, stocks, and projects.
o Analyse variances between forecasts and actuals and propose corrective actions.
o Produce, analyse, and present financial indicators to management.
* Manage Administrative Operations: Contract management, regulatory compliance.
* Develop and enforce administrative procedures.
* P repare onboarding equipment for new employees and manage asset inventory.
* Manage renovation projects and contract negotiations while ensuring regulatory compliance.
* Manage company vehicle fleet and telecoms.
* Manage insurance portfolio.
* Compliance with Revenue/CSO/IDA/CBAM/Customs returns.
Requirements:
* Higher education in finance, accounting, or management (Master's degree - business school).
* 5-10 years' experience in a similar leadership role, ideally in an international trading and logistics environment.
* In-depth knowledge of accounting, tax, and social regulations is a plus.
* Strong analytical skills, rigour, organisational ability, and leadership.
* Proficiency in IT tools (ERP, Excel)
* Good command of professional English – French will be appreciated
