Job SummaryZurich Insurance Plc in our Wexford Centre of Excellence is looking for a Finance Operations Agent. The successful candidate will work in the Finance Operations team and report to the Finance Operations Team Coach.Your roleAs a Finance Operations Agent your main responsibilities will include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following:Daily debt collection with responsibility for some key A/C managementDealing with customers ensuring payments received and resolving any issues/queriesAdherence to daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly deadlinesWork closely with distribution/other departments within Operations and other stakeholders to identify potential problems at an early stage ensuring swift resolution of issues to eliminate delayed payment.Direct Debit management.Accounts Receivable processing and management ensuring all accounts are reconciled on a daily basis.Proactively work towards a system of continuous improvement around processes and procedures and standardisation of the receivables functionCash allocationCarry out detailed reporting with respect to current and aged debt for presentation and review by managementAny other duties and responsibilities which management deem appropriateParticipate in ad hoc project work that may present within the businessLiaise and interact with various departmentsYour skills and experienceAs a Finance Operations Agent your skills and qualifications will include:Minimum Qualifications:A minimum of 2 Grade C3/H5 at Higher Level in the Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) or FETAC Level 6 Diploma.Preferred Qualification & Experience:Previous administration experience an advantageCustomer service experience an advantageAccounts receivable experience desirableExcellent attention to detailAbility to work in a dynamic team environmentAbility to manage ambiguityWell-organised, results driven and capable of working to tight deadlinesGood communicator with excellent interpersonal skillsAbility to work independentlyHave an appetite for continuous personal developmentBe enthusiastic and a self-starterGood working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookAdditional InformationPrimary work location is Wexford.
