Job Description
This role is ideal for a senior clinical psychologist with a passion for innovation, inclusive leadership, and service transformation. The successful candidate will have a strong emphasis on autism, neurodiversity, and complex disability, driving service expansion beyond physical disabilities.
Main Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership: Develop psychological services and drive service expansion beyond physical disabilities.
2. Clinical Oversight: Ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based interventions for children and adults and provide supervision and mentorship to psychology staff.
3. Research & Education: Foster a culture of learning and research and collaborate with academic bodies to advance clinical practice and knowledge-sharing.
4. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong partnerships with families, clinicians, and sector stakeholders and represent the organization at national and external forums.
5. Team Management: Oversee recruitment, performance management, training and professional development of psychology staff and manage resources efficiently.
Essential Requirements
* Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent)
* Extensive senior-level experience in disability and neurodiversity
* Proven ability to lead service transformation and strategic planning
* Strong record of research involvement and clinical governance
