Civil Engineer Job Summary: We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join an established engineering function supporting a large, complex, operational manufacturing site in Dublin.
This role is suited to an intermediate-level engineer (510 years experience) who enjoys owning projects end-to-end.
The initial focus will be on small to medium-sized capital and infrastructure projects, providing autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to deliver work from concept through to handover.
As the role develops, there will be scope to contribute to larger and more complex projects.
The position would suit candidates with a Civil Engineering background and exposure to Building Services, or those from a Building Services background with strong civil experience.
Key Responsibilities Take ownership of small to medium-sized civil and infrastructure projects, managing them through all project stages Plan and coordinate site works including groundworks, drainage, structural works, and site infrastructure upgrades Manage contractors and consultants on a live operational site Coordinate civil works with mechanical and electrical services to ensure effective project integration Review and approve drawings, specifications, method statements, and risk assessments Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders across engineering, operations, and external partners Support continuous improvement across project delivery and site infrastructure Experience & Qualifications Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline 510 years experience delivering civil, infrastructure, or site-based projects Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, pharma, or complex commercial environments Practical exposure to both civil/structural and building services elements Strong knowledge of health & safety, contractor management, and live site working Confident communicator with good organisational and problem-solving skills Why Join Arcadis?
