The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing integrated nursing and medical services, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals with mental disorders, co-occurring substance abuse, and general medical conditions within their scope of practice. They coordinate care with internal and external providers across mental health, physical health, and substance use disciplines. The role involves monitoring and managing common medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma/COPD, overweight, obesity, and tobacco use.
Compensation Range: Starting pay is $60,350, based on skills and experience.

Qualifications:
Required:
* Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
* Current, unrestricted Michigan RN license
* CPR and BLS certifications
* Valid Michigan Driver’s License, reliable transportation, proof of auto insurance
* Clinical experience in vital signs collection, injections, point-of-care testing, medical management, crisis, and behavior management
* Knowledge of medical terminology in mental health settings
* Experience with HIPAA compliance
* Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and electronic health records
* Strong teamwork, discretion, judgment, and communication skills
* Ability to work up to 24 hours per week in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing
* At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience in behavioral health settings
* Experience with health registries like MAPS, PMP AWARxE, PDMP
* Knowledge of Michigan community mental health system and related laws
