Senior Digital Marketing & Automation Executive
(HubSpot, Paid Media & Events)
Location: Parkwest, Dublin 12.
Company: Premier Publishing & Events
Type: Full-time, senior role
We run 14+ annual B2B conferences and exhibitions across Ireland and the UK, bringing together decision-makers from manufacturing, pharma, medtech, food, construction, energy and more. Our marketing team is small, busy and very hands-on. We are now hiring a senior marketer who can take full ownership of our digital engine – with a particular focus on HubSpot Marketing, paid campaigns and automation.
If you live and breathe funnels, tracking, testing and improving results, you'll fit in well here.
The non-negotiables
You must be able to hit the ground running in all of the following:
HubSpot Marketing (core requirement)
* Deep, practical experience of HubSpot Marketing Hub (not just theory).
* Building and maintaining email nurture journeys, workflows and automation for multiple audiences.
* Segmenting databases by event, sector, seniority and behaviour.
* Implementing and improving lead scoring, lifecycle stages and attribution.
* Confident use of HubSpot AI for:
* subject line and content optimisation
* send-time optimisation
* A/B testing and continuous improvement of campaigns
* Creating dashboards and reports that clearly show what's working and what isn't.
Google & Meta Ads (end-to-end campaign ownership)
* Planning, building and managing full campaigns (search, display, video, remarketing, Meta lead and traffic campaigns) across 14+ annual events.
* Creating campaign structures that can scale across multiple events and locations.
* Daily/weekly optimisation of bids, audiences, creatives and landing pages.
* Setting up and interpreting conversion tracking, pixels, GA4 events and UTM structures.
* Reporting in a way non-marketers can understand, clear, honest and actionable.
Core tools & platforms
* Canva: creating and adapting on-brand assets for ads, social and email.
* WordPress: updating and building pages, publishing content, basic SEO best practice.
* Comfortable learning and using our wider stack: event platforms, social schedulers, video tools, form builders, analytics and more.
If you do not already have strong, proven experience in HubSpot Marketing and Google/Meta ads, this role will not be the right fit.
What you'll be doing
Working closely with the Head of Content, Marketing & Business Improvement and the wider team, you will:
* Own the digital performance for 14+ events – from first awareness through to registrations and post-event nurture.
* Build and refine multi-step email journeys for delegates, exhibitors and sponsors in HubSpot.
* Design and run always-on and event-specific paid campaigns across Google and Meta, aligned with event timelines and sales targets.
* Use HubSpot AI and platform tools to improve open rates, CTR, conversion and lead quality over time.
* Ensure tracking is clean and reliable across HubSpot, Google Analytics and ad platforms.
* Work with the content and design side of the team to make sure landing pages, emails and creatives match the campaign strategy.
* Create clear weekly and monthly reports on registrations, cost per lead, source breakdown and campaign performance.
* Help develop standard operating procedures for digital marketing so the team can scale efficiently as we grow.
* Collaborate with the management team to help deliver excellent events.
This is a doing role as well as a thinking one. You will be the person who logs in, builds, tests, fixes and improves – not only the person writing the strategy.
About you
You are likely to:
* Have several years' experience in a senior digital marketing / marketing automation / performance marketing role.
* Have hands-on HubSpot Marketing experience (multi-brand or multi-product is a plus).
* Be confident managing multi-channel, multi-event campaigns at the same time without losing attention to detail.
* Enjoy working with data and dashboards, and know how to turn numbers into decisions.
* Be comfortable collaborating with sales, content, design and operations.
* Be organised, calm under pressure, and able to work to tight event deadlines.
* Have excellent written English, with a good eye for clear, direct copy in UK English.
Experience in events, B2B, or similar complex sales environments would be a bonus, but is not essential if you can show you understand funnels and stakeholders.
What we offer
* A genuinely varied role across multiple high-profile events.
* The chance to build and shape how we use HubSpot Marketing and paid media across the business.
* A collaborative, practical team where good ideas are implemented quickly.
* Competitive salary, depending on experience, with scope to grow as we expand.
* Work from home Wednesdays.
* 4pm finish Fridays.
* Travel to events across UK & Ireland.
