The Role: Founding Multi-disciplinary Designer
We're hiring a Founding Designer to own design across our product, brand, and marketing touch points. This is a multi-disciplinary design role spanning product design, visual design, interaction design and animation. You'll work side by side with the founding engineering and product team to shape, ship, and scale the core experience, fast. This isn't a design role. It's a seat at the table to define the product from the ground up.
You'll move quickly from idea to execution, blending systems thinking with sharp visual craft. You'll help define our brand, interaction patterns, and visual language, building on top of a base design system that's ready to be shaped and extended. We expect speed, precision, and ownership, paired with the taste and judgment to raise the bar with every release.
What You'll Do
* Lead end-to-end design across product, brand, and creative marketing, from concept to execution
* Define and evolve our interaction patterns, brand expression, and motion language
* Be AI-first, designing workflows and outputs with AI as the default, not the add-on
* Prioritise ruthlessly, juggling speed, quality, and innovation across multiple workstreams
* Customise and scale our existing design system to support real product needs
* Build rapid prototypes to explore and validate product ideas
* Design flows and interfaces that scale visually, technically, and functionally
* Collaborate tightly with engineering to ship high-quality builds quickly
* Work like a product owner, shaping what we build, not just how it looks
* Iterate constantly, testing, learning, and refining in short, focused cycles
* Raise the bar for clarity, craft, and execution across the team
Must Have
* 8+ years of product design experience with shipped, high-quality products
* Deep generalist, strong across UX, UI, brand, and systems
* Technically fluent, you know how things are built and design accordingly
* Able to balance methodical, detailed work with scrappy, fast-paced execution
* Sharp prioritisation skills, able to distinguish signal from noise
* Strong product judgment and commercial awareness
* High-velocity, high-ownership contributor
* AI-first approach to using AI to speed up ideation, iteration, and delivery
Nice to Have
* Fintech, payments, or B2B product experience
* Frontend fluency (for example, HTML, CSS, or Flutter)
