If you are interested in a rewarding career in our operations, with ample opportunity for growth, and want to be a part of a dynamic and supportive team, then we encourage you to apply today.The duties of the Shift Supervisor role include:Ensuring daily collections are downloaded, printed and distributed as per process to couriers.Ensure all freight from night sort is staged in courier bays.Monitor NDD and 24 hours parcels to ensure onboard for deliveryEnsure van audits are carried out Debrief couriers on their return to depotAdhere to Health & Safety Procedures at all timesEnsuring the Depot meets it's KPIsLiaising with Depot Management and Regional Team to work through any issuesMaintain Warehouse and working areas in a clean and orderly fashion at all timesEnsure the safe and efficient handling of customers goods / freight at all timesEnsure all freight is sorted and organised correctly to minimise misroutesEnsure accurate scanning of all freight in order to ensure depot efficiencyEnsure that PPE is worn at all timesWork effectively as part of a teamAgree action plan to address poor performance and monitor impactEnsure cages are cleared of rubbish when placing down for next shiftMaintain a positive cultureThe Successful candidate must have:Have a commercially acceptable level of English (spoken and written)Proficient on computers (Excel, Email, Reporting platforms, CRM systems)Previous supervisory experience (3 years +)Excellent timekeepingSafety AwarenessKnowledge of Irish geography and specifically depot coverage areasPrevious logistics industry experienceProblem Solving and People Management experienceHours of WorkSplit Shift: 5am-10am, 3pm-6pmJob Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:On-site parkingWellness programBike to work SchemePositive Career ProgressionSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayLicence/Certification:Counterbalance & Reach Forklift Certificate (preferred)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)
