What You Will Be Doing
We are seeking a Group Financial Accountant to join our finance team, supporting the continued growth of an expanding international business. This role is well suited to a recently qualified accountant or someone with a few years’ industry experience looking to further develop in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will predominantly be responsible for the month‑end close process, gaining exposure across multiple entities and jurisdictions. Based in Limerick (with flexibility for remote working), this is an excellent opportunity to build broad experience and contribute to a high-performing finance function.
Key Respobsibilities
Managing the group month end accounting process
Preparing monthly consolidated management accounts
Reconciling intercompany on a monthly basis
Providing commentary on monthly variance analysis
Assisting in the preparation of Board reporting packs
Tax returns and compliance
Liaising with external auditors
Responsible for acquisition accounting when required
Working with colleagues in other jurisdictions in relation to reporting and compliance matters
Ad hoc analysis/projects as required by the CFO or Head of Finance
What You Will Need
Professional accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA)
Attention to detail and a practical mindset
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Excellent organisational skills and an ability to work to tight deadlines
Preference for experience with Xero
Preference for experience of group consolidation accounting
Legal entitlement to live and work in Ireland
