Job Title: Education & Curriculum Specialist

Overview
The Education & Curriculum Specialist for the Warmblood Studbook of Ireland (WSI) is responsible for developing innovative curricula for implementation by the Breeding Director to support WSI's mission to collaborate with Irish breeders to breed and produce international showjumping, eventing, and dressage horses.
This role involves creating high-quality and scientifically appropriate curricula for hobby breeders and young (under 5) breeders.
Responsibilities
Design curricula focused on warmblood breeding for the three Olympic disciplines.
Develop curriculum for workshops, seminars, and short courses, to be delivered by the Breeding Director, on topics such as genetic testing, genomic profiling and selection, scientific breeding strategies.
Quality Assurance & Evaluation
Develop evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness of education delivered by the Breeding Director.
Ensure all educational content aligns with WSI's breeding policies and internationally benchmarked standards.
Stay updated on the latest research and trends in warmblood breeding and equine education, including scientific research.
Qualifications and Skills
Master's degree in an education-related field and/or science-related field.
10 years of experience educating adults and/or young adults.
Recent knowledge of equine studbook operations and management.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in curriculum development and adult/young adult learning methodologies.
Familiarity with digital learning platforms and technologies.
Additional Requirements
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings when necessary.
Passion for education and the development of the Irish Warmblood breed.
