Our client, a creative and growing business based in Little Island, is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant / Administratorto join their friendly team.

Flexible Hours are available to suit the right candidate ( 4-5 day week role) Accounts Duties: Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or Quick Books).
Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and payments.
Prepare and issue customer invoices and statements.
Manage bank reconciliations, petty cash, and expense claims.
Assist in the preparation of VAT returns, payroll data, and monthly management reports.
Liaise with the company accountant for year-end accounts and audits.
Weekly Payroll (Thesaurus) Administrative Duties: This is an everything role.
The successful candidate will be proactive, friendly and happy to help the team where need be.
Being the first point of contact (whether by phone or in person) between clients and the office staff Answer calls, emails, and correspondence with customers and suppliers.
Stock Control Maintain filing systems (digital and paper) and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Support management with scheduling, purchasing, and document preparation.
Assist with HR records, holiday tracking, and basic compliance documentation.
Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years experience in a similar bookkeeping/administrative role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, Quick Books) and Microsoft Office.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
Hours will be between 8:00am-4.30pm Monday-Friday.
Salary €36-€40k per annum depending on experience plus benefits.
