Please find below the job specification for your consideration: Key Responsibilities: Instructional Design and Development Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) Design and develop learning materials, including slide decks, e-workbooks, videos etc for specific FET programmes within CMETB. Apply instructional design models e.g. ADDIE, SAM to create effective learner centered experiences. Integrate multimedia elements e.g. video, infographics, interactive activities to enhance learner engagement. Content Creation & Review Draft storyboards, scripts, and content prototypes, and manage feedback, revision, and approval cycles. Continuously review and improve instructional materials based on learner and stakeholder feedback. Ensure all materials meet QQI Standards and reflect current best practices in instructional design. Compliance and Innovation Ensure accessibility and inclusivity in all materials by complying with relevant standards, including WCAG. Required Qualifications and Skills: A third-level qualification in Instructional Design, Education, or a related discipline is essential. Demonstrated experience in instructional design, ideally within the Further Education and Training (FET) Proficiency with e-learning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Learning Management Systems (LMS). Solid understanding of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles. Strong communication skills-both written and verbal.
