The Team and the Opportunity
We’re looking for experts in Java-based technologies to join our System Engineering and Integration team. In this role, you will design and guide the architecture of Java applications while actively participating in coding and development. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to balance strategic architectural decisions with hands-on work. Your Key Responsibilities
* Coding new developments and enhancements
* Designing applications, systems, or processes
* Ensuring quality of program specifications and code
* Adhering to code quality and testing standards
* Implementing integration tests and automating tests where appropriate
* Managing complex live incidents
* Coordinating team or release activities
* Creating prototypes and screen designs
* Providing input to governance and status reports
* Peer reviewing code changes
Skills and Attributes for Success
* Analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, agile methodologies, design, and testing
* Strong knowledge of Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Rest API
* Experience with ActiveMQ and messaging technologies
* Experience with databases (relational and non-relational)
* Ability to develop unit tests (Junit)
* Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Maven, SonarQube, Jenkins)

Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
