What you'll be working on
You'll be leading the design, improvement, and governance of IT services within a large, complex organisation undergoing a major transformation programme. This includes developing a service design framework, ensuring SLAs and OLAs are in place, and supporting the transition of services into operational support. You'll play a key role in the post-implementation phase of a cyber-related programme, including the migration of on-prem SAP systems to S/4HANA.
Who you'll be working for
You'll be joining the IT & Telecoms division of a Public Sector organisation that supports multiple operating companies across Ireland. The team is responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and compliant IT services. You'll report to the Head of Service Delivery and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, Service Management, and external vendors.
What you'll need to succeed
* Experience in IT service design and architecture
* Strong knowledge of ITIL v4,NIST, and NIS2
* Hands-on with ServiceNow (CMDB, service catalogue, workflows)
* Understanding of SAP ERP, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Familiarity with service transition and post-implementation support
* Experience working with third-party vendors and MSPs
* Relevant IT qualification
* Certifications like ITIL v4 or TOGAF are a plus.
