Overall Purpose of the Job

A member of our Technical Mobile Team, reporting to the M&E Manager, will assist and take ownership in providing Facilities Management & related projects, including moves management, space planning, administration, financial control, logistics, H&S, Energy Management, checklists, and minor maintenance. The goal is to enable the business to operate safely, comfortably, productively, and cost-effectively.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Organise and control pre-planned and reactive maintenance work on client sites for various building systems.
2. Prepare and deliver Sales Quotations (SQs).
3. Report on SQ KPIs, technical team efficiency, and training KPIs.
4. Develop strategic improvements for service delivery.
5. Maintain Mobile Technical Team KPIs to track efficiency.
6. Create SOPs to manage team activities.
7. Work with site Health & Safety officers to ensure safety and training compliance.
8. Coordinate management of in-house and contractor activities, including risk assessments and method statements.
9. Implement quality systems for procedures and documentation.
10. Collaborate with subcontractors and engineers to ensure smooth operation of plant and areas.
11. Assist in managing service contracts proactively to minimize issues and maximize returns.
12. Manage daily engineering maintenance across multiple sites with in-house staff and contractors.
13. Communicate with clients and contract managers regarding planning and organization.
14. Develop specifications for remedial works and assist in obtaining quotations and tenders.
15. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including validation and certification of equipment.

Person Specification

* Highly motivated, adaptable, and safety-conscious.
* Technical knowledge with project management skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Valid, clean driving license.
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
* Independent, high-standard work ethic.
* Effective negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications and Experience

* Proven experience in mechanical and electrical building services maintenance.
* Experience implementing quality management systems.
* Recognized engineering qualification or significant experience.
* Experience with Permit to Work systems.
* Computer literacy with standard software packages.
