Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating strong estimates of project costs, reviewing potential tender opportunities and assisting in the completion of tenders. They will also review drawings and specifications, coordinate with clients on changes impacting costs and create Bill of Quantities (BoQs) & take-offs.
Additionally, the Estimator will visit sites to understand scopes of work, work closely with Quantity Surveyors, Procurement and Project Management teams and assist in the coordination of projects from start to finish.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* At least 3 years' experience as an Estimator
* Strong fit-out experience
* MRICS status is beneficial
* Previous tender experience
* Degree or higher training in Engineering, Architecture or Construction
* Strong understanding of regulations and standards
* Ability to travel to sites (full driver's licence)
* Full right to work in Ireland
