Overview
This role assumes responsibility for managing the integration of digital aspects of the media planning activity and providing digital strategy planning insights for multiple client accounts within their client team. It requires management of processes, excellent attention to detail and time management skills to ensure best in class delivery on behalf of the media team for clients. This role supports the Digital Client Director in fostering strong relationships with clients.
Role
The role requires an ambitious, creative and innovative person who prides themselves on building strong and trustworthy client relationships. Digital Senior Client Managers require strong collaboration and communication with the wider team, particularly Social, Search and Programmatic teams in Investment. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment with a drive to succeed and can multi‑task in a deadline‑driven atmosphere.
Responsibilities
This role will have the responsibility of developing the digital media rationale for the client, aligned to the overall strategic direction. The role will be the key day‑to‑day client contact, ensuring that all media decisions are made using a robust process powered by the appropriate media planning tools. It requires a clear understanding of digital media planning principles, the ability to articulate the strengths and weaknesses of each media channel and the role that each will play in delivering on the overall strategy.
Additional responsibilities include establishing KPIs for the media plan, ensuring all important information is clearly shown for client approval, managing the implementation and delivery of the digital media plan, performing quality control to ensure the plan matches the rationale and objectives set, and delivering client service review outcomes that demonstrate improvement in media planning and impact on the client’s business.
Agency Performance

Understanding of the key business challenge for clients and digital media strategy to address these challenges.
Responsibility for delivery of the digital media rationale and the digital media plan in alignment with the overall media strategy.
Participate in planning sessions and work with the Digital Client Director to deliver an integrated media response to client briefs.
Input into macro channel budget setting and establishing media KPIs for briefing to Investment teams.
Develop digital media briefs and coordinate internal briefings across Core Practices and Central Teams.
Day‑to‑day client service, working closely with the Digital Client Manager to meet deadlines.
Manage quality control of the media plan to ensure it matches the brief, media rationale and all relevant KPIs, target audiences and objectives are clearly outlined.
Implement audit recommendations agreed with the Business Director and Digital Client Director, working with Channel Planning and Investment teams.
Ensure plans are audit ready and the KPI document is up to date for each audit.
Adopt an accuracy culture with excellent attention to detail.
Manage intra‑campaign reporting and optimisation with specialist teams.
Work with the client to adjust plans or budget allocation as required.
Liaise with clients to obtain plan approval.
Engage with media owners to deliver partnership opportunities efficiently and collaboratively.
Responsible for digital activity at audit.

Commercial Performance

Demonstrate strong comprehension of the client’s business and their KPIs.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time and on budget.
Manage media budgets across all plans and Practice areas.
Understand the scope of client contracts and key performance metrics.
Ensure 100% accurate billing on time for clients, especially new specialised service projects.
Work with the Digital Client Manager, Finance and Digital Client Director to monitor and manage aged debt, ensuring clients pay timely.
Keep timesheets updated weekly, accurately reflecting client work.
Monitor profitability and revenue targets with the Digital Client Director.
Provide insights needed for media strategy development.

Your Profile

Previous digital media experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in media planning and buying.
Experience working with digital media tools.
Knowledge of broader digital disciplines.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience project‑managing large‑scale, complex media campaigns.
High level of business and financial acumen.
Good presentation skills – assist in presenting to clients.
Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
Creative and innovative thinker.
Very knowledgeable about all media – ideally an expert in at least one medium.
Excellent listener, attentive to client objectives.
Excellent attention to detail.
Understands importance of upskilling.
Can think on feet to make quick decisions.
Highly organised, able to manage multiple client projects and overall delivery.
Understands and appreciates benefit of processes.
Responsive to requests, knows when to elevate and involve others.

Salary Range
48,000 – 56,000 DOE
