Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer
We are seeking a technically capable and self-motivated engineer with experience in mechanical building services design to join our Building Services team.

You will support the delivery of detailed, coordinated design solutions while continuing to grow your technical expertise and project ownership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop mechanical systems designs from concept to detailed stage.
* Contribute to energy-efficient and environmentally responsible designs in line with current standards and performance goals.
* Coordinate with electrical, public health, structural, and architectural disciplines to ensure integrated building services solutions.
* Support site inspections, technical assessments, and project meetings as part of the design and delivery process.
* Produce high-quality design documentation including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have:
* A degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
* 3 years of experience in mechanical building services design within a consultancy environment.
* Proficient in Auto CAD, Revit, and mechanical design tools such as Hevacomp or equivalent.
* Solid understanding of Irish Building Regulations, CIBSE guidelines, and relevant energy and environmental standards.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Actively pursuing or planning to pursue chartership with Engineers Ireland or a similar body.
