Applications are invited for the following post: Assistant Lecturer in Business Information Systems (Specified Purpose Wholetime) Reference: 39/2026 The successful applicant will be an excellent lecturer and play an active role in the academic direction of courses which includes teaching, academic assessment and academic administration. Working as part of a large team, s/he will be required to develop course materials for teaching and learning at undergraduate and potentially postgraduate levels. A key requirement of the role is to support and contribute to programme management and delivery to ensure the further growth of the School of Business Technology, Retail & Supply Chain in a focused and constructive manner. The appointee will actively contribute to the further development of the Schools programmes and undertake research and scholarly activity alongside personal development in his/her subject appointee will be required to teach on a range of business programmes from Level 6 to Level 9 on the National Framework of Qualifications. Hours of Work:This is a wholetime post. In addition to teaching hours (up to 18 hours per week), attendance is required from Monday to Friday during the general working hours of the School and Faculty. Location: The post will be based at one of the TU Dublin Campuses i.e. Aungier Street, Bolton Street, Grangegorman, Blanchardstown or Tallaght. Regular attendance at other sites will be required.
