Contract Manager
We are seeking a Contract Manager to join our team working on highway, public realm, and transportation projects for a prominent global EPCM company.
Job Description
As a key member of the project team, you will provide technical advice and support for highway infrastructure operations and maintenance. Your responsibilities will include:
* Undertaking day-to-day contract management
* PPP contract administration
* Compliance monitoring
* Project/program management services
You will report to the Commission Manager and work closely with a small team to deliver programme and project management and technical advice and services to the client.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinating specialists, managing contracts, reviewing submissions, expediting project schedules, ensuring compliance, and conducting regular inspections
* Preparing and presenting reports to clients
* Drafting and reviewing correspondences to contractors
* Liaising with internal teams and stakeholders
* Managing day-to-day operational duties
* Continuously improving operations and delivering quality customer service
* Proposing alternatives for expediting/recovering project schedules with contractors for presentation to, and agreement with, the client
* Attending Risk Reduction meetings and recording actions and mitigations agreed
* Monitoring contractual compliance by the contractor, and early identification of issues and problems
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical/electronic engineering; or in another relevant discipline
* 5+ years post-graduate experience in infrastructure projects
* Ideally experienced in mechanical/electrical systems projects and infrastructure maintenance

Desirable Skills
* Experience in Infrastructure O&M schemes and Intelligent Transport Systems
* Familiarity with PPP and NEC3 contracts, commercial risk, and procurement strategies
