Mary Lynch Pub, a newly refurbished pub on the N4 between Kinnegad and Mullingar is looking for an experienced and driven Bar Manager. Steeped in history in the local area for over 100 years this is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional looking to take the next step in their career and lead from the start, building a team and creating a place where everyone wants to go.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the bar team to consistently deliver outstanding service.
* Oversee all bar operations, including stock management, ordering, and scheduling.
* Manage budgets, control costs, and drive profitability through effective strategies.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
* Provide training and mentorship to staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
What We're Looking For
* 3-4 years Experience in Irish Hospitality
* Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar leadership role in hospitality.
* A strong understanding of bar operations, mixology, and inventory management.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
