Engineering Lead

Roscommon, we deliver bespoke industrial solutions across high-profile, fast-paced projects. We're now hiring an Engineering Lead to coordinate engineering, detailing, production, and scheduling activities across our fabrication workflow.

Key Responsibilities
Machinery & Programming:
* Oversee programming, fault resolution, and maintenance of machines
Drawing Office Coordination:
* Manage workloads for steel detailers and track drawing progress
* Prepare fabrication packages, cut lists, and machine nests
* Improve drawing output for ease of fabrication and erection
Materials Management:
* Track stock levels and procurement for upcoming projects
* Maintain knowledge of steel grades and material types
Performance Monitoring:
* Set KPIs for machine operators and detailers
* Report on output quality, waste reduction, and schedule performance
Collaboration & Leadership:
* Liaise with factory, production, and site teams
* Attend planning meetings and coordinate project readiness
* Minimise downtime and improve production efficiency
* Implement lean principles and troubleshoot process issues
What You Bring
* Strong background in engineering, fabrication, or manufacturing environments
* Knowledge of steel grades, detailing processes, and workshop operations
* Proficiency in machine scheduling, drawing software, and stock tracking
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
* IT proficiency and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a live production setting
