Sales Representative
We are seeking a skilled Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with key customers and contractors, promoting building materials through regular visits and communications, and upselling additional services and products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and contractors.
* Promote building materials through regular visits and communications.
* Upsell additional services and products to existing customers.
* Prepare quotations and account plans to meet sales targets.
* Manage customer payments and debt collection effectively.
* Collaborate with internal teams to identify commercial opportunities.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in building materials sales or B2B sales in construction is required.
* Strong knowledge of building materials, including plumbing products, is essential.
* Experience working with building contractors and specifiers is necessary.
* A third-level qualification in construction or business is desirable.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills are required.
* Strong organisational and time management abilities are essential.
* Commercial awareness and analytical thinking are necessary for success in this role.
* Proficiency in IT and data handling is required.
