Area Sales Manager
As a seasoned sales professional, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth by developing tailored sales concepts and strategies. This exciting opportunity is perfect for individuals with a knack for business development in building materials.
The Role
You will spend most of your time in the field, working closely with key builder's merchants and retail accounts across Dublin. Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Planning and managing quarterly sales schedules and promotional activities with key accounts
2. Identifying market opportunities by reviewing product specifications and analysing competitor offerings
3. Developing and executing time-integrated plans for introducing new products in collaboration with sales and marketing teams
4. Coordinating technical training for employees and third-party salespeople to ensure market readiness of new products
5. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, ensuring smooth commercial collaboration
6. Prospecting, initiating, and following up on new sales projects in a consistent and structured manner
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* 2+ years proven experience in sales or business development, within building materials or related industries
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market dynamics and provide effective solutions under pressure
* Excellent communication and persuasion skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels
* Resilient and proactive work ethic with a hands-on approach and strong sense of accountability
* Skilled in relationship development, building trust and long-lasting partnerships
* Proficient in Excel and Power Point to support sales planning and reporting
