Overview This position is responsible for project planning and control of capital projects at Industrial Operations and Product Supply (IOPS).
Requirements Responsibilities: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to tailor communication based on the audience. Drive positive engagement with cross-functional groups for schedule development and planning. Create and deliver EPS and WBS layouts for EPCM, commissioning, qualification, and start-up of GMP production areas and systems. Plan, schedule, track, and control multiple small capital projects simultaneously. Develop detailed schedules (levels 3, 4, 5) and implement planning, reporting, and analytical tools in Primavera P6. Level load and resource planned work-fronts. Analyze contractor schedules and draft detailed master schedules involving multiple inputs for larger projects. Experience in Critical Path Method planning and forecasting. Create and maintain the Project Risk Register. Chair weekly planning and scheduling meetings, including roundtable workshops. Identify schedule issues and constraints, proposing mitigations. Track, control, and report plan vs. actual using earned value analysis, S-curves, histograms, and graphical updates; produce concise reports in PowerPoint. Establish and routinely track KPIs for your function. Comply with all current IOPS cGxP standards (e.g., GMP, GDocP). Lead by example, sharing knowledge and operating with a unified IOPS mindset. Maintain the physical condition and environment of all areas and equipment, ensuring Safe, Clean, and Compliant standards. Adhere to and stay current with SOPs and training requirements; maintain an up-to-date training file. Perform any other projects as assigned by supervisor. Education and Experience BS/BA in engineering or a scientific field, or relevant trade qualification, with 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
Relevant experience may substitute educational requirements. Proficient in Oracle Primavera. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project.
