Job Title:
A proactive Health and Safety Manager is required to develop, implement, and manage health and safety programs ensuring a safe working environment.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for policy development, risk assessment, team leadership, training, incident management, and regulatory compliance.
* Policy Development: Develop comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures ensuring compliance with local regulations
* Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards
* Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team to deliver objectives in line with EPS values
* Training and Communication: Devise training programs for employees on HSQE practices
* Incident Management: Lead investigations into accidents and incidents, identifying root causes
* Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with health and safety regulations and ensure compliance
Key Competencies and Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and health and safety management software.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field, professional certification (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH) preferred.
