Our company is looking for a professional Optometrist to join our team. This role involves working as part of the Diabetic Eye Screening Programme, contributing to patient care and developing your skills in a collaborative environment.
Job Description
* The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients using indirect ophthalmoscopy techniques and grading according to protocol.
* You will contribute to the patient's pathway through screening/grading processes, ensuring direct triage and daily download of information.
* Operate within current and future policies/procedures, undertaking administration tasks as required by the programme.
* We are seeking an individual who is committed to ongoing development, attending relevant courses/meetings/seminars/workshops/conferences/sessions).
This role requires strong communication skills (written/oral) with multidisciplinary teams/patients. You should have previous experience with computer applications/data input/initiative/task prioritization/problem solving/computer literacy/acumen etc.). A full driving license&, preferably own transport,'s travel would be beneficial but not essential.
