Job Title: Senior Software Developer - Crime Prevention Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our Loss Prevention Tech team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that drive global investigations, establish trend analysis, and build smart loss prevention workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and break down work into individual components.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and quickly implement them in our projects.
- Be responsible for technical problem-solving, meeting product objectives, and developing best practices.
- Write high-quality, efficient, testable code in modern object-oriented languages.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to planning, design, implementation, testing, operations, and process improvement as a Scrum team lead.
- Own end-to-end architecture of scalable large projects and participate in an on-call rotation.
- Track and report on metrics which are key performance indicators, allowing performance improvements so that the desired outcomes are achieved to plan and in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot and respond to errors, bug fixes, and issue tickets.
Requirements:
- Experience in professional software development with a strong focus on system design and architecture.
- Expertise in programming with at least one software programming language and experience with full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
