We are looking for an experienced and motivated Reservations Manager to lead and manage our reservations team in Fota Island Resort. This is a key role within the business, responsible for driving occupancy, revenue growth, and delivering an excellent booking experience for our guests and partners. Qualifications
* Knowledge of Opera Cloud booking system
* Detail focused with knowledge of the practices and principles within Revenue management
* Knowledge of computer systems including excel, PowerPoint, Word etc
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Experience with leading and managing a team
* Ability to multitask and prioritise task list
* Strict policy and procedural work ethic with excellent organisational and administrative skills
* Fluent English
Responsibilities
* Lead, train, manage and develop the Reservation team, including the Reservations Associates, and Coordinators
* Responsible for training / rosters / developing standards
* Ensure all bookings, reservation documentation, filing and group contracts are completed in line with company guidelines
* Responsible for loading of rates and the management of this activity
* Strive to achieve objective of filling the hotels to 100% occupancy with minimal no-shows
* Have full knowledge of all groups from quoting to contract
* Maximise revenue through efficient yield & inventory management using Opera
* Manage 3rd party websites
* Ensure rate parity across all distribution channels, or as instructed by the Group Revenue Manager.
* Effectively manage time ensuring the completion of all pre-set tasks on a daily basis.
* Analyse internal or external reports and apply to Department operations as appropriate
* Participate / attend when required at the Management Meetings. Actively participate in other meetings as requested
* Build network in organisations that may directly or indirectly impact our business as appropriate
* Allocation of lodges to maximise revenue
* Effectively manage the opening and closing out of availability on website
* Work closely with the Lodges Manager to identify key business dates to manage arrivals
