The Role (18-month contract | Full-time)
The Data Analyst will join the Strategy & Economics function, working cross-organisationally and reporting to the Head of Data Strategy & Analytics. The team's remit includes:
* Research
* Data Strategy & Analytics
* Economic advice and professional leadership
* International engagement
The role has a strong focus on data management, analysis, visualisation, and data governance, supporting both strategic projects and day-to-day regulatory decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and advise on dashboards and data visualisations aligned with organisational goals
* Support the planning and delivery of data projects, including advising on appropriate data presentation and outputs
* Contribute to cross-divisional and organisation-wide projects, collaborating with senior stakeholders
* Drive data-led storytelling to support policy and regulatory insights
* Support business teams in developing analytical capabilities for regulatory and strategic decision-making
* Ensure robust processes for data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting, in line with established data standards and governance frameworks
* Assist with strategic initiatives led by senior leadership within the Strategy & Economics function
What We're Looking For
* Strong experience in data analysis, analytics, or data strategy
* Experience working with dashboards, data visualisation, and reporting tools
* Ability to translate complex data into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders
* Strong attention to detail and understanding of data quality and governance
* Comfortable working in a policy, regulatory, or public-sector environment (desirable, not essential)
