This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for Masters and PhD‑level chemists who want to apply their expertise in a new and impactful way. No AI background needed — just rigorous scientific thinking and a command of your domain.

What You'll Do
Design and develop complex, real‑world chemistry problems spanning organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry
Solve and review advanced chemistry problems for scientific accuracy, depth, and rigor
Apply domain expertise to craft challenging problem statements that push AI reasoning capabilities
Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts
Ensure clarity, precision, and scientific integrity across all deliverables
Work independently on task‑based assignments at your own pace
Who You Are
Holds a Master's or PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field
Deep expertise in organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry
Experience with Python or computational chemistry tools such as Gaussian or VASP
Exceptionally detail‑oriented with strong written communication skills in English
Able to explain complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely
Self‑motivated and reliable when working independently
Nice to Have
Prior experience with data annotation, data labeling, or AI evaluation workflows
Familiarity with AI tools or language model interfaces as an end user
Background in academic research, scientific writing, or peer review
Experience across multiple chemistry sub‑disciplines
